  • President – Quality & Knowledge Management at Reliance Capital Ltd (one of India’s largest financial service groups) from 2005 to 2013. Arun led the group’s strategy & initiatives in the areas of Business Excellence, Customer-focus & Knowledge Management. He was instrumental in making these key strategic differentiators for the group. Initiatives such as Lean Six Sigma and KM are significant contributors to the group’s revenue, profits, shareholder-value creation and customer satisfaction. The group achieved breakthrough business growth from 2005 to 2013. Some of its businesses are among the fastest companies in their industry to achieve profitability. The group also achieved the largest ever Foreign Direct Investment in the financial sector in India. It has been the market leader for nearly 12 years, and is now a global player with operations in 20 companies. The company's Quality, Business Process Excellence and Knowledge Management initiatives, which were launched and led by Arun have made a significant contribution to its unprecedented growth and business success. Over 500 Six Sigma projects were completed under Arun's leadership.
  • General Manager - Group Strategic Planning at the RPG Group (a large diverse conglomerate group with businesses in manufacturing and services) from 1999 to 2002. Arun was the Head of Knowledge Management for the Group; and a Certified Assessor for the RPG Quality Award (modeled on global Business Excellence awards). The Knowledge Management program led by Arun led to significant business results through cost-savings and group synergy.

  • Manager - Ernst &  Young Global Management Consulting from 1996 to 1999. Led consulting assignments in systems and process related areas for clients in manufacturing & services.
